In English, we are studying Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. This week, we focused on the iconic balcony scene, analysing the meaning behind the archaic vocabulary and exploring the emotional states of the characters. Using the playscript, we performed the scene with particular attention to the delivery of the lines, as well as the use of body language and facial expressions, to effectively convey the emotions of Romeo and Juliet."
