There was plenty of excitement (and a few paler faces!) as 6S spent part of their Wednesday afternoon Science session observing a 'real-life' heart. Children were interested to see the structure of the heart's chambers and where major arteries and veins connect. During PE sessions, children are working to create a dance routine which conveys the relationship between good and evil characters - including using props. There has been a twist in English as we discovered 'Oz' is not the great saviour readers expected in the first chapters; we created a presentation to show how evidence from the text gives us a true picture of the character. Also, check out Leo's writing which impressed his classmates with the use of blended action and description.
