Forest Fun - As it was the big garden birdwatch this week, the children made bird feeders in the woods. They spread peanut butter on apple slices and dipped them in bird seed. They then chose somewhere to hang these where the birds could easily find them. It was very wet and muddy, so the children enjoyed squelching and sliding in the mud and digging for worms. Some children tried to make dens to shelter them from the weather.
