In English we have been doing some drama, improvising dialogue between our main characters. We will then be writing this as speech with inverted commas.

On Thursday, we went on our trip and wow what an excellent day! We started off in the library, the children were so engaged and were fantastic at using the sources to find the evidence in the history detective game all linked to the history of Turf Moor and the Clarets. We were able to use all our knowledge we had learnt so far to help us with this too.

After that, we walked to the Turf Moor for a guided tour where we found out lots more about the history of the club.
