During English sessions, we have considered how the structure of a biography text shows the reader through a chronology of significant events from a person's life. Focusing on the life of Walt Disney, we worked in small groups to share our research before coming together as a class to use text-mapping to retell an already published biography. In Art, we have examined how mood can be affected by the colours selected for a piece of work (the bean tins are inspired from Andy Warhol's Pop Art!). Our Computing sessions have looked at constructing a webpage for a specific purpose and audience - Lyla and Leo's work shows our designs for a webpage to help KS1 learn about the Amazon.
