What a busy week!

In Science this week, we have been rock detectives! We have been using the viewing boxes and the magnifying glasses to identify a range of rocks. We were discussing their physical properties and their appearance. We used vocabulary such as grainy, layers, speckled, crystals, rough, smooth, jagged and multi coloured. 

In Music, we were learning how to play a riff using the notes CFG. We discussed the notes and their names, minim, crotchet, semi quaver and rest. 

In Maths, we have started division. We have been understanding that division is repeated subtraction. We have been working out some problems using the beadstrings to help us!
