At the start of the week, we joined the rest of KS2 to observe a minute silence as part of Remembrance Day (as we fell silent, we heard the distance explosion of the cannon from Burnley centre). During maths we have tackled fractions work with real confidence - understanding how to generate a common denominator to accurately add and subtract. In our PE session with Mr Crawford, we have begun to sequence a gymnastic routine and consider tactical play in football. We finished the week with an outbreak of colour spots and teddy bear ears as we dressed up for our final 'Children in Need' day at Briercliffe.
