Another busy week in 3C!
In Science, we learnt how our bones protect us. We had to design a structure to protect our vital organs (int his case a chocolate marshmallow teacake!) and we also learnt how our muscles work with our bones to help us move. The children made a model of the arm to see how the muscles work with their bones.
In English we were learning to talk like expert in preparation for writing our non-fiction leaflets. We were taking our tourists on a guide around landmarks of Burnley!
In Geography, our final lesson was comparing Alice Springs and its physical geography to Burnley. We used a Venn diagram to help us compare the places.
