Year 5 have been practising their clay sculpture skills in preparation for their final sea creatures. We have had a great (messy) time using clay and practising slip, coil and scoring techniques. Children have also considered what mediums will work with their clay and thought about the use of recycled materials, acrylic paint pens and paints to add extra details to their sculptures.
