In Design Technology, we have been tasked by Maureen to create a new dish for the school kitchen which she could include on the menu during the winter months and is suitable for pupils who have diabetic dietary requirements. We learnt skills of how to prepare vegetables before evaluating whether the dish looks appetising, which is the best texture - chunky or blended - and if the combination of flavours makes a tasty dish.
