Sports Day Event - Years 3 and 4

Some of our amazing children from years 3 and 4 took part in a traditional sports day event at Barden track. They had to work as a team to collect as many points as they could in a variety of events such as the  3-legged race, tug-of-war, foam javelin and relay races. As a team, they achieved a fantastic 1st place result. We are all very proud of you!

School Games Dance Festival

On Tuesday 21st March, some of the Year 5 girls went to a dance competition at Blessed Trinity. We have worked really hard as a team and have been practising for 11 weeks. The theme of the dance was 'Eco green - Save the Planet'. We performed brilliantly and all wore the same costumes and had fabulous face paints done by Mrs Slack and Ava’s mum. We competed against 10 other schools and are really proud of ourselves for coming 6th in the competition. We would like to give a big thank you to Miss Lonsdale and to Kira, our dance teacher, for all their help. By Scarlett and Georgie

Tag Rugby Tournament

On Tuesday 21st March, some Year 5 & 6 children, Charlie, Zain, William, Joey, Jack, Reuben, Ellisa, Freya, Connie and Indi, took part in a tag rugby competition. Our first game was tough but we managed to get a win. Our second game was another tough one but we won again. Our third game came and we managed to win. That enabled us to win our group. Our second group looked hard but we won our first match. Our next game was very tough but we tried our hardest and managed to get a draw. During our last game, we battled and battled and eventually secured a win. In total we won 5 matches and drew one and we won the competition and received gold medals. Thank you to all the parents for taking us and thank you to Miss McDonagh, Miss Lonsdale and Mr Crawford for arranging it for us.
