We have been looking at symbols found on Ordnance Survey Maps.  We matched the symbols to the area.  Then we made our own class 'messy map' of our local area.  We stuck boxes together for terraced houses.  We used tubes for some of the chimneys we saw.  We made symbols to label the different features on our map and street names.
